HALIFAX (November 5, 2013) – Today, Rogers Radio station News 95.7announced a refreshed programming schedule, partnering with Sportsnet 590 The FAN to deliver new, premium sports radio content to Halifax. During the weekdays from 5 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., News 95.7 will continue to deliver its multiplatform newswheel coverage. The morning will feature The Rick Howe Show, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Todd Veinotte Show from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Weeknights on News 95.7 is devoted to sports talk with an extra hour of Prime Time Sports. Now broadcasting Monday to Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Prime Time Sports, hosted by award-winning personality Bob McCown, is Canada’s most-listened-to sports talk presentation. Evening and weekend programming continues to deliver premium sports coverage, that brings fans into the action with highlights, in-depth commentary, live coverage of NFL football, play-by-play action of the Halifax Mooseheads, plus the return of Toronto Blue Jays regular season games next year from Sportsnet 590 The FAN.
