(Toronto – December 8, 2008) Citytv is spreading the holiday spirit with the third annual Breakfast Television Christmas Tree Sale! Support Daily Bread Food Bank by coming down to Yonge-Dundas Square, the new home of Citytv, Friday, December 11 starting at 6:00am and walk or drive away with an affordable Christmas tree courtesy of Home Depot. Choose from 1,000 deluxe Balsam Fir trees (6-8ft tall) for a minimum donation of ten dollars, plus enjoy a free cup of hot chocolate provided by Westin Harbour Castle and be eligible for great giveaways. Last year, with the help of generous viewers, BT raised over $13, 000 in support of Daily Bread Food Bank.

The holiday cheer continues until the last tree is sold with BT personalities on site to help viewers choose the perfect tree. A new drive-thru option this year makes it quick and easy to purchase a tree without needing to find a parking place. The drive-thru is located on Dundas Square Road just off Yonge Street, right beside the Square. The sale starts at 6:00am sharp while quantities last, so get there early!
