This night is anything but silent when Canadian singing sensation Michael Bublé returns with another star-studded holiday Christmas special. Filmed in his hometown of Vancouver, the multi-Grammy-Award®-winning singer is joined by guest stars Rod Stewart, Blake Shelton, fellow Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen, and even Elmo, on songs including “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Let it Snow,” “All I want for Christmas is You,” and “Winter Wonderland.” Plus, with a little magic, Bublé performs a special duet with Bing Crosby of the classic "White Christmas.” Plus, from December 4 to December 10, Citytv’s Breakfast Television will give viewers the opportunity to see Michael Bublé in concert in London, England. The sounds of the season come alive from Toronto’s Yorkminster Park Baptist Church in the second annual Citytv Carol Sing. Hosted by Citytv’s Gord Martineau, viewers will be entertained with music of the holidays, performed by international opera stars Richard Margison (tenor), with daughter Lauren Margison (soprano), along with Russell Braun (baritone). The concert will also feature traditional Christmas carols performed by the Canadian Children’s Opera Company and the True North Brass, accompanied by William Maddox on the organ, along with the Larkin Singers, and choirs from Christ Church Deer Park and Yorkminster Park Baptist Church. Plus, award-winning actress Fiona Reed will delight viewers with a reading.
Herbie Special: Saturday, Dec. 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings)
Citytv brings viewers an inspirational one-hour special this holiday season, featuring the stories of courageous children from around the globe who have come to Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children to receive life-saving surgeries they can’t get at home, courtesy of the Herbie Fund. Hosted by CityNews anchor Gord Martineau, viewers will get a glimpse into his travels to Ethiopia where he meets with some of these young patients and their families.
