Citytv Prime Time Programming Highlights: Monday, Aug. 6 – Sunday, Aug. 12

Monday, Aug. 6:
 
Bachelor Pad (s/ABC):8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT, 9 p.m. MT
The third challenge of the season, "Hot Sludge Funday," plunges the contestants into an ice-cream-themed obstacle course. Then, on the three-on-one dates, the winners have a chance to get shined up at Madame Tussauds Hollywood Wax Museum. Back at the house, the contestants start coupling up romantically and – after being spurned by the cast member of her dreams – a fan has better luck on the rebound.
 
Tuesday, Aug. 7:
 
Murdoch Mysteries: 10 p.m. ET/PT, 9 p.m. CT, 11 p.m. MT

“Staircase to Heaven”
After a high-stakes card game involving Dr. Grace (Georgina Reilly) ends with the death of a player, Murdoch is shocked to learn the true cost of their wagers – their lives. Meanwhile, Inspector Brackenreid (Thomas Craig) is saddled with the care of Ned Watts (Jamie Robinson, Celeste in the City), a criminal set to testify against a vengeful mastermind known as “The Razor.”

“What the Boy Saw”
When Nina Reiser disappeared from her home, the investigation uncovered a tangled web of toxic relationships, thwarted dreams and a custody battle that had turned poisonous. The district attorney tried to prosecute her husband, but, with minimal evidence and no body, it was an uphill battle. But when a surprise witness took the stand, the killer was forced to reveal himself, leading the authorities to Nina's body.
 
Friday, Aug. 10:
 
Great MovieGrumpy Old Men: 9 p.m. ET/PT, 8 p.m. CT, 10 p.m. MT
John Gustafson (Jack Lemmon, The Odd Couple II) has been feuding with his neighbour and former best friend Max Goldman (Walter Matthau, Dennis the Menace) for decades. Just when it seems they may finally put their childish rivalry aside, sexy new neighbor Ariel (Ann-Margret, Old Dogs) arrives and dates both men, pitting them against each other more fiercely than ever before.
 
Sunday, Aug. 12:
 
Secret Millionaire (s/ABC): 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT, 9 p.m. MT
"Sean Belnick, NY, NY"
In the days leading up to the anniversary of 9/11, 24-year-old entrepreneur Sean Belnick moves to Brooklyn, NY, to spend a week volunteering with the community. While there, he encounters a brotherhood of firefighters still suffering from the aftermath of 9/11, and an inspiring group of children living with the pain of having at least one incarcerated parent. After getting to know these unsung heroes, Belnick surprises them with a donation from his own fortune.
 
Great Movie – Starsky and Hutch:9 p.m. ET/PT, 8 p.m. CT, 10 p.m. MT
Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson (Owen Wilson, Midnight in Paris) and Dave Starsky (Ben Stiller, Tower Heist) are a tough pair of plain-clothes cops who solve cases with the assistance of their informant, Huggy Bear (Snoop Dogg, Old School). While investigating their latest case, the duo realizes that the culprit is none other than Reese Feldman (Vince Vaughn, The Dilemma), the criminal involved in their first bust.
