The Biggest Loser Season 10 Contestants Announced


(Toronto – August 25, 2010) – 21 new hopefuls eager to transform their bodies, their health and their lives compete for a spot on the ranch when Season 10 of The Biggest Loser premieres September 21 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT) on Citytv.

The theme for Season 10 of the popular series is “paying it forward” challenging communities as well as contestants to get healthy. Trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels along with host Alison Sweeney travel to seven cities across America where each trainer leads community fitness challenges like a one-mile race or a 500 step-up competition. In each of the seven cities – Detroit, Los Angeles, Portland, Atlanta, Phoenix, Oklahoma City and Boston – there will also be three hopefuls competing in the challenges. The two candidates who complete their community fitness challenge first win a spot at the ranch. Those who don’t make it will get a chance to vie for a spot on the show in a later episode.

Contestants hoping to make it on the ranch and compete for the $250,000 grand prize include a military wife and mother of five, a background vocalist for Beyoncé, a former college football player, and a retired swimsuit model. The complete list of hopefuls is as follows:
