Breakfast Television Remains Canada’s #1 Morning Show Brand

– Breakfast Television is also the #1 morning show in Toronto –

TORONTO (August 22, 2016) Rise and shine! More Canadians are waking up with Breakfast Television than any other morning show brand across the country. Following a consecutive nine-month period in the #1 spot, Breakfast Television remains the most-watched morning show brand on TV in Canada, reaching 1.7 million viewers P2+ every week. Since January 2016, the show has also held the #1 spot locally in Toronto, according to data from Numeris.*

Nationally:

  • Breakfast Television is the #1 morning show brand in the coveted Adults 25-54 demo

  • The Breakfast Television brand has increased its audience year-over-year by four per cent, beating its closest competitor by 11 per cent

Locally:

  • Breakfast Television Toronto is the city’s #1 morning show in the core Adults 25-54 demo, beating its closest competitor by 11 per cent

  • The show is also #1 in viewer loyalty for total minutes viewed per episode, coming in 2.1 points ahead of its closest competitor
