City Announces Fall 2016 Premiere Dates
– City’s powerhouse fall lineup includes the highly anticipated TV reboot Lethal Weapon and brand-new comedies Son of Zorn and original series Second Jen –
– Special musical events The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Hairspray Live! boast star-studded casts, including Laverne Cox and Adam Lambert, and Ariana Grande, Martin Short, and Kristen Chenoweth, respectively –
– Returning smash-hits include Emmy-nominated series 2 Broke Girls, Bob’s Burgers, black-ish, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Modern Family, Mom, and The Last Man on Earth –
TORONTO (July 28, 2016) City is comin’ in hot this fall with its biggest, boldest, and most buzz-worthy lineup yet! From blockbuster dramas, such as Lethal Weapon, to the season’s most irreverent new comedies, like Son of Zorn, City’s rock-solid schedule has something for every Canadian TV lover this fall. Boasting four new series, two new musical specials, 16 returning hits, and fall’s biggest sporting events, the most-anticipated fall schedule of the season kicks off Thursday, Sept. 15 on City.
Additional returning television events include CMA Country Christmas, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, and the 59 th Annual GRAMMY Awards® – premiere dates to be announced at a later date.
