City’s original premium drama series Between returns for a highly anticipated second season, premieringThursday, June 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings) on City, premiering next day onshomi. Featuring six, one-hour episodes, Between stars Jennette McCurdy (iCarly), Jesse Carere (Finding Carter), Canadian Screen Award-winner Shailyn Pierre-Dixon (The Book of Negroes), and Justin Kelly (Degrassi: The Next Generation). This season, audiences get an inside look into the quarantine on the all-new, LIVE digital after show, Inside Between, following each new episode on Citytv.com.
This season, as the harsh winter settles in, food and resources diminish, and residents of Pretty Lake are pushed to the limits of lawlessness, Wiley
(Jennette McCurdy) and Adam (Jesse Carere) must fight harder to survive – whether it involves planning a daring escape or rebelling against the
treacherous government. Amidst this struggle, a mysterious stranger, Liam Cullen (Steven Grayhm, The Family Tree), arrives in Pretty Lake with
promise of a cure, leaving Wiley and Adam questioning his motivation. Another enigmatic outsider, Renee (Mercedes Morris, Forest Fairies), charges
into Pretty Lake armed with a survivalist group, The Horde, who have been actively thriving off the grid in their own society. Ronnie (Kyle Mac, Carrie) is instantly attracted to this new, charismatic leader and finds himself entangled in Renee’s drama.
The action doesn’t stop there. All new this season, Between’s companion digital after show, Inside Between, airs LIVE following each episode on Citytv.com. Hosted by Jim Watson – who played Pat, a Pretty Lake’s casualty from season one – this half-hour weekly special will feature special guests and cast members sharing exclusive behind-the-scenes content, playing interactive trivia games, and teasing what’s to come. Audiences at home can engage with Jim and the special guests on social media, submitting their questions and comments on the series on Twitter at @BetweenSeries.
Looking for even more drama and everything in between?
